Week 26

With the tension of the last painting behind us, we are free to move into the new space. That's the blessing in the aftermath, what you choose to create with the anger or hurt. Pushing in? Well, if I have to. But there is always a reward. The humility and vulnerability between us grows, and our connection in the artistic realm deepens. 

It is a separate space for me, a deep, fantastic part of my soul that is unfettered, bold, ultra sensitive, powerful, passionate and so vivid. To share that place with someone is both frightening and thrilling. Many never get to share that space with another. Or even find it for themselves. 

This week we were back to dancing while painting. We choose a piece that was fun, HUGE, and we had less emotional connection too. That really frees you. If you care too much, sometimes you can't get anything done!
