Week 85

After selling the last piece we did on gold leaf, we were eager to try the silver leaf. The metal gives such a gorgeous, deep feel to the water and adds delightful flashes of light. When you are painting on it, you must think in negative (or reverse) in order to have the silver peak through at just the right spots. It’s a beautiful mind game, serene, complex and wholly fulfilling.
