Focus on fun. And just keep going! Don't get stuck, don't stop. That was my mantra. I threw myself into this one ( maybe because I wasn't so invested in the concept). I made bold strokes for me, had my hand in areas I usually don't touch: nothing was held back. Focusing on the "we" and the reason we began this journey, my heart is light and hands are free.
Standing alert and proud, our hunter looks for his master. The black of his polished coat and unruly ears shine blue. His eyes gleam with gold and obvious pride. The prize, his pheasant, a gorgeous accumulation of luxurious feathers and colors rests still so full of life and beauty. The wild outdoors frame the two, with tall grasses and long loose strokes.
Beauty is birthed from fun, from laughing and dancing in your chair. Let go. Sometimes it's worth letting the painting take you, rather than you leading it.
