Week 131

Our last two portraits have taken us a bit longer than one evening. I can see and feel the drain it puts on Laert. We waited to finish it until after we decided what to use instead of some fuzzy unknown vegetation that he was actually playing with. 

So let’s be real. Trying to do something you love can be hard - it can be difficult to be inspired or you may feel alone while doing it. You don’t have to do it alone. Just because you love some thing doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. I think it’s a fallacy to think if you have enough passion inside you’ll always be ready to do more and be more. Finding someone who can drive you, inspire you and push you is a necessity for those who are committed to do what they love. 

So cheers to those of you who are up late after the kids are in bed and a full days’ work is behind you, bending into your passion, tired and yet compelled. Thank you to those of you who join us, support us and drive us. You all are seen- inspiring, working, creating, and certainly together we are not alone.
