Week 108

Amidst the swirl of the rapidly forming world wide pandemic, emotionally and physically exhausted, we retreated to our studio. There, all tucked into our familiar cocoon, there was a release. The mental weight was lifted and our bodies became energized. Here, there was only art. There wasn’t an outbreak. It wasn’t worldwide destruction and economic downfall. It wasn’t selfishness of toilet paper hoarders and scalpers with hand sanitizer. 

I didn’t get to pick this one, but I’d decided I didn’t want to struggle against anything tonight. I wanted to flow and as I did, I felt renewed. Rinsed. Lathered... for at least 20 seconds.
